The Breaking The Frame Summer Get-together at Dolwion Mill in Felindre Llandysul, Wales, in August 2017 was an informal opportunity to meet and talk about technology politics in a relaxing and picturesque setting.
The programme was dependent on what the attendees offered to share with the group. We learned from each other about alternative energy sources (such as gyroscopic hydropower); electromagnetic / microwave pollution; trade agreements; the history and meaning of technocracy; and much more. We were very kindly invited to spend some time at the Dyfed Permaculture Farm Trust, where we learned about many aspects of how the farm is managed. Some shared their visual arts and music, and there were plenty of opportunities throughout to relax, eat and drink, and enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside.
Here are a few photos from the weekend.
And here is a short video of a demonstration on how to scythe, at the Dyfed Permaculture Farm Trust.
